Our research themes

Physical implementations
of cryptography

Down-open Down-open

This research investigates hardware vulnerabilities by using fault injections and analyzing side channels, like power consumption, to uncover secret keys.

Trust in cryptographic algorithms

Down-open Down-open

This area focuses on cryptanalysis to rigorously test and verify the security of current and future post-quantum mathematical algorithms.

Privacy-preserving technologies

Down-open Down-open

This theme develops advanced encryption and multiparty computations that allow different entities to collaboratively analyze data without exposing their sensitive raw information.

Distributed AI

Down-open Down-open

This research designs communication-efficient, decentralized machine learning protocols that train models across local devices while maintaining strict data privacy.

Quantum computing and communications

Down-open Down-open

This area focuses on making quantum technology practical by developing error-correcting codes and distributed quantum networks that can operate under realistic physical noise and resource constraints.
